Ainsleeisms

There are always things we want to remember about our kids. If I don't write it down, I don't remember it. So here is a list of things Ainslee says I want to remember:

1. She used to say "stumpin" and now it has turned into "sumpin" for something.

2. "this early": She uses this to mean any time before now. Such as " We payed (played) swing this early." or " I was a baby this early."

3. She has fantastic problem solving skills. For example, one night, as we were sitting on the sofa(a sleeper), I said "you can either have ummies now or when we go to bed." She followed with "Okay, Case can you pull the bed out?" She comes up with a solution to any obstacle you put in her way in this fashion.

4. She came up with a new one today - We were sitting eating lunch while were out and about and as she was gazing out the window she says "I wish I could take driving lessons". I asked "why" and her response... "so I can have a car." Well, Duh Mom.

5. 8-11-08 Apparently Ainslee thinks if yor fingernails grow you turn into a witch. She ran up to me today after waking and said, " MOM! My finger nails are growin'!" "yes," I said, " We can cut them." She follows with " That's okay, I'm not going to be a witch."

6. 5-22-09 Cherries are "Ainslee berries"

7. Ainslee called me "mother". I responded " what is this 'mother' stuff?" She states " English". Gee... now why didn't I know that?
