The Great Disappointment

Amelia's school did not turn out as we had hoped and we have pulled her out to homeschool her again. It was a mutual choice on her part and ours. She is happy to be home again and we are happy she will actually be learning something with out the ridiculous struggle we had with "school". She did discover a few things while at school. She likes to write a summary of what she has read. She says it helps her to comprehend it. And she really does like the books we have SO much better. She has already taken it upon herself to come up with a plan of action and started her work before she even left school. She got up this morning without prompting and did her chores and schoolwork all on her own! Maybe school was a positive experience after all.
