The School Decision
Case was accepted to Rabun Gap and we were granted a financial aid package that was good enough we probably could have handled the expense. We loved the school, they loved Case. It would be a great place for Case and he was really looking forward to the possibility of going. I worked right up to the last minute coming up with ways to do it. However, in the end, we would have all had to sacrifice more than was fair for just the one. As much as we all wanted him to be able to go, we decided we just couldn't ask that of everyone. So, he will be attending Easley High School. After much thought, conversation and deliberation, we feel good about the way things have turned out. It is close to home. His friends will be local. It has acting and golf, both of which he would like to do. Now, if I can just convince him to practice more so he will make the golf team...
