Our first Kindy Day

Today was Ainslee's first official day of kindergarten and with it I learned that my planning needs to be a little better. I has planned to go to Skytop orchard but have postponed that t6ill Thursday because I am just too tired today and did not think it would be a good day. So, today we had a story about a little red house with no windows and no doors, five rooms and a star inside...then we went to search for it just like in the story and this is what we found:

A large part of Waldorf is a nature table to celebrate the seasons. Here is the start of ours:



OTHER UPDATES:
We haven't received Amelia's Oak Meadow books yet, but she is continuing, sometimes grumpily, with her spiritual exploration, spelling, and grammar.

Case has had to turn in his first project in English that he completed this weekend, It was a poem titled "I Am". Last week he had a few quizzes on which he scored perfectly.
